06-10-2023 – Special Olympics

On Saturday, June 10th from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm the Special Olympics is looking for the Knights to grill burgers, run the food from the grill to the serving area and serve 900 – 1,100 family members & friends at the north side of ISU’s Horton Fieldhouse. We broke the times down into two shifts (feel free to signup for both shifts if you would like). This signup is for our council. The other councils are filling additional slots.

If you prefer to only grill, run food, or be a server, please specify that after your name in the signup. Otherwise, we will assume you are good to fill any of these activities.

Please bring any questions to our next meeting on 6/6 or send an email to info@kofc6498.

04-30-2023 – Help with 5th Sunday Coffee and Donuts

The knights will provide the volunteers for coffee and donuts following the 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM Masses on April 30th (5th Sunday).

We will help with pouring drinks, clearing\cleaning tables, bringing out more donuts, and sending the coffee cups, bowls (for the oatmeal), and spoons through the dishwasher. Instructions will be provided by Ron Bordewick and Brian Judd. Please add your name to the below signup if you can help.

12-3-2022 – Christmas Parade and Setup Outdoor Nativity

Our council will have our “Keep Christ in Christmas” entry in the Jaycee’s Christmas parade on Saturday, 12/3. We will be loading up the trailer on the west side of Epiphany between 8:30 and 8:45 AM and will then carpool to the start of the parade (Kinsley Junior High).

We will hand out tootsie rolls as we walk the parade route.

Following the parade, we will return to Epiphany and complete setting up the outdoor nativity scene. We are usually back from the parade around 11:15 and it takes about 45 minutes to complete the setup.

The below link includes a signup both activities.
