Jambalaya dinner starting at 6:30 including any non-members from the parish who may wish to greet Brother Toulon before his departure. We could commence business at 7:30 or as appropriate. Brother Blaney will do jambalaya but would accept assistance from council with setup, corn bread, cookies, and beverages.
6/18/2022 – Special Olympics
On Saturday, June 18 from 8:30am – 2:30 pm the Special Olympics is looking for volunteers to grill burgers & serve 900 – 1,100 family members & friends at the north side of ISU’s Horton Fieldhouse. As of now they are looking 5 to 6 people to grill and have 3-4 servers during that time. Jim has members interested in volunteering, but we figured that if enough people volunteered, they would be able to do shifts instead of grilling/serving for 6 straight hours.
We are looking for Knights from any of our local councils to help with the event. Please consider helping with this important event. If you have any questions, please direct them to your council’s Grand Knight or send an email to info@kofc6498
6/14/2022 – Fraternal Benefit Night
The Fr. Thomas Carmody Council at Epiphany Parish cordially invites you to attend an open event for the parish along with Knights of Columbus members around the community.
We are hosting a Fraternal Benefit Night on Tuesday June 14th starting at 6:00 PM in the Epiphany Parish Hall. This event will feature Ed Slott, who is a nationally recognized speaker specializing in retirement planning for the year of 2022. This is an amazing opportunity to learn about ways to capitalize our retirement as well as learn about our own insurance program within the Knights of Columbus.
Our very own agent Brandon Pals will be in attendance as well to answer questions you may have in regard to the insurance program with the Knights of Columbus!
Please RSVP before Tuesday June 7th. Food will be provided, and we will also be happy to answer any questions you may have in regard to the Knights of Columbus.
If you have questions, feel free to reach out to our Grand Knight Jared Pletsch at jcpletsch@hotmail.com. We look forward to seeing you there!

Vocation Support Raffle
Brother Knights, thank you for another year of service with the Knights of Columbus. In this unprecedented time, we must remain steadfast in our faith and continue to provide charitable works for those in need. You can help by supporting this raffle, which provides funds for our Vocation
programs within the council including our local seminarians. We currently have 2 and we can only ask that you support them with your involvement in this raffle.
Each Knight should have received a raffle booklet in the mail in October. Each ticket is $1.00 or $15.00 per booklet. The council keeps $9.00 for each book sold. The remaining $6.00 funds the raffle and is used to support vocation programs at the State level.
The raffle consists of twenty prizes totaling $20,000 in cash. The Grand Prize Drawing will be held at the Illinois State Council’s Mid-Winter District Deputy meeting on December 2020.
