Assist with March 23rd and April 19th Blood Drives
The Knights will be helping the Red Cross with setup and cleanup activities with two drives they will be holding at Epiphany this spring that replace regularly scheduled drives that needed a new location due to the ARC being used as a vaccine distribution site. Click here for details and signups.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FREE THROW CONTEST-Cancelled
We have been informed by our school principal that the Diocese of Peoria will not allow any non-school events to be held in our Lyceum. As such, our event on Sunday, March 7th is CANCELED. Obviously, we are disappointed about this.
Mr. Smyth, Epiphany’s physical education teacher, will be allowed to hold the competition but only for school kids during regular school hours. He plans on executing this competition during classes over the next few days.
We apologize greatly that the competition has to be limited in this way, but it is beyond the control of anyone at Epiphany.
2021-02-03 Blood Drive at Epiphany
There’s new FDA blood donation eligibility guidance for those who receive a COVID-19 vaccination. But good news, there’s no deferral time if you receive the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine. If you receive a vaccine, knowing the name of the manufacturer is critical in determining your eligibility.
All donations are tested for COVID-19 antibodies. Results available within one to two weeks via your donor account on both RedCrossBlood.org and the Blood Donor App.
The Red Cross follows the highest standards of safety and infection control. In accordance with CDC guidelines, all donors are required to wear a face covering or mask. Valve face masks are not permitted. Face shields can be worn in addition to face masks but not as a substitute.
Take Down Outdoor Nativity at Epiphany

- Carefully pry figures from ground.
- Take down lighting.
- Take down creche.
- Carry all components to Church basement.
Vocation Support Raffle
Brother Knights, thank you for another year of service with the Knights of Columbus. In this unprecedented time, we must remain steadfast in our faith and continue to provide charitable works for those in need. You can help by supporting this raffle, which provides funds for our Vocation
programs within the council including our local seminarians. We currently have 2 and we can only ask that you support them with your involvement in this raffle.
Each Knight should have received a raffle booklet in the mail in October. Each ticket is $1.00 or $15.00 per booklet. The council keeps $9.00 for each book sold. The remaining $6.00 funds the raffle and is used to support vocation programs at the State level.
The raffle consists of twenty prizes totaling $20,000 in cash. The Grand Prize Drawing will be held at the Illinois State Council’s Mid-Winter District Deputy meeting on December 2020.

October Coat Drive Update
Thank You! Epiphany Knights of Columbus thanks all of the members of the parish and students, faculty, and staff of Epiphany Catholic School for making this year’s coat drive the best yet. We delivered 310 coats to the St. Vincent DePaul Society clothing closet.
This will be many blessings for people during the upcoming winter. Special congratulations to Mrs. Gustafson’s 3rdgrade class who brought in the most coats (39). They earned a pizza party as did Mrs. Lohr’s 2nd grade, Miss Conley’s 4th grade, and Mrs. Craig’s 1st grade classes who each brought in more than 30 coats.
Congratulations to all!
Venerable Father McGivney, Pray for Us!
